For Ekinciler Iron and Steel Industries, Inc., “civilization” means development, which is achieved not against but side by side with nature. Our plants and other facilities are managed according to the sustainability principles. To protect the environment, we strictly follow well-established corporate codes. Some of them are as follows:

- Focus on recycling
- Minimize energy and water usage
- Maintain efficiency in raw material usage
Although we operate in one of the sectors that uses the most energy, we are very good at improving energy efficiency. We registered our achievements in energy efficiency with “ISO 14001 Environmental Management” and “Sustainable
Constructional Steel Certificate” certificates.
